Art 316 Open House

The annual Art 316 Open House is this Friday, November 4th from 5:00-10:00 PM.

The building is filled with great talent – from a few pottery studios, metal works, comics guys, woodworking/furniture studios and much more. Of course, there is our boutique portrait studio right at the front door! The open house is open to the public and dsmPhotoCompany will be providing free Facebook portraits to everyone.

Also, we will be offering studio specials that night – including discounts on our sessions, products and beauty services. Christmas is coming soon and Valentine’s Day is right around the corner – plan ahead with your special gifts, holiday cards, etc – and take advantage of our special offers!

4th Annual Scott Kelby Worldwide Photo Walk

This year’s Worldwide Photo Walk event will be held on Saturday and Sunday, October 1-2, 2011. It’s a social photography event where photographers get together to walk around, shoot photos, and generally have fun with other photographers while expanding your creativity. Once again it’s free—there is no fee to join this year’s Photo Walk—just register, come and have a ball! Plus – you can win all sorts of prizes by entering photos from the photo walk.

There are 2 photo walks in Des Moines this year. The first is downtown on Saturday, October 1st @ 10:00 AM. Click here for more details and to register for the Saturday downtown walk.

Weeknight workshops consists of instruction, observation of mentors working with clients/models and consistent Q&A.
